Carrying on traditional Japanese dyeing and weaving techniques, I create pieces that gently fit into life today.
糸を染め、織り、仕立てるまで。そのすべてを一人の手で丁寧に紡ぎ、一点一点、心を込めて制作しています。
From dyeing the threads to weaving and finishing, everything is done carefully by one pair of hands, one piece at a time.

作品はすべて一点もの。デザインや大きさなど、お好みに合わせたオーダーメイドも承ります。Every piece is one of a kind. Custom orders — design, size and colors to your liking — are also welcome.
国産の上質な生糸を中心に、作品ごとに素材を選び抜く。ものづくりは糸選びから始まる。Each piece begins with the yarn — fine raw silk, mainly Japanese, chosen carefully for every work.
貴重な国産シルクを中心に、じっくりと染め上げる。京都西陣の職人によるオリジナルカラーも。Precious Japanese silk, dyed slowly and with care. Some original colors are dyed by artisans of Nishijin, Kyoto.
染め上げた糸を一本一本小管に巻き、色の組み合わせを思い描きながら織りの準備を整える。The dyed threads are wound one by one onto small bobbins, picturing the colors of the weave to come.
伝統の織技法をオリジナルの模様にアレンジ。譲り受けた古い機で、一本一本丁寧に織り込む。Traditional weaving techniques arranged into original patterns, woven thread by thread on an old, inherited loom.
自然から染められた色、織物ならではの風合いと立体感、シルクの艶やかな光沢を。Colors drawn from nature, the texture and depth unique to weaving, and the lustrous sheen of silk.
1983年、大分県日田市生まれ。女子美術大学工芸学科織専攻を首席で卒業。2013年に手織り手作りブランド「蝶楽坊」を設立し、2017年に独立して「織工房en」とする。西部伝統工芸展に二年連続入選。日本の伝統的な染織技術を今の生活に溶け込ませ、良質な素材を後世に残すことを大切にしている。Born in Hita, Oita in 1983. Graduated at the top of her class in weaving from the Department of Crafts, Joshibi University of Art and Design. Founded the handweaving brand "Chorakubo" in 2013, then became independent as "Orikobo en" in 2017. Selected for the Seibu Traditional Kogei Exhibition two years in a row. She weaves Japan's traditional dyeing and weaving techniques into everyday life, and treasures passing fine materials on to future generations.
